Jack Morley Tye

Tye, Jack Morley peacefully on Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 at Pioneer Elder Care, St. Catharines. Jack beloved husband of Doris for 69 years. Dear father of Linda Hamilton and Allan (Judy) Tye. Devoted grandfather of Ty (Tomiko), Leah (Harris), Emily (Wyatt), and Tristan and great grandfather of Chizuko, Matsu, Delilah, Rachel and Felix. Predeceased by his brothers Claude, Roy, Fred and Robert and his sisters Agnes and Phyllis, lovingly remembered by his twin sister Margaret Dewasha and his nieces and nephews. Jack spent many years as a teacher with the Niagara South Board of Education and upon retiring, he and Doris enjoyed travelling the world.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 75 Church St., St. Catharines (905)684-6346 on Friday, January 8th from 11am. A Celebration of Jack’s life will follow in the chapel at 1p.m. Cremation. If so desired, donations made to the Sick Children’s Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society in Jack’s memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
