After a lengthy battle with cancer, John passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at St. Catharines Hospital. John was the beloved husband of Susan (nee Aylwin) for more than 33 years. Proud father of Niki (Tyler Mauthe). Cherished "grampie" of Alaina. Father of Dave Ramm and grandfather of Katie. Dear brother of Willi Ramm (Mary), Gisela (the late Mike Bauman), Anne (Hans Egger), and Fred Ramm. Much loved brother in law of the late Gary Aylwin (Judy), Donna (Bill Townsend), and Wendy (Mike Lutczyn). Forever remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In keeping with John's wishes, cremation has taken place. Private arrangements entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel in St. Catharines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Leukemia Society of Canada or if you are able, please consider donating blood in John's honour.
