It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lenora Counsell-Sherk (Helm) on October 6, 2026, at Tabor Manor in St. Catharines. Lenora dedicated her life to her church and to God. She had a love for music, singing, and playing the organ and piano. She was predeceased by her husbands, Rev. Jack Counsell and Bill Sherk. She is remembered by her family, including Richard Counsell (Janet), John Counsell (Heather), and Gloria Wiggins (Clark). Lenora was grandmother to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother to eighteen great-grandchildren. A private funeral will be held with her family. In lieu of any flowers, donations can be made to Central Community Church.
