

Lois Golob passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2026, in her ninety-first year. She is predeceased by her loving husband, John Anthony Golob (2022) and by her son, Barry (2023). She is survived by her sons, Randy (Tricia) and Gregory (Patricia Rocco) and by her Daughter-in-Law Linda. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Bianca (Mike), Leah, Dominic, Cary, Alexei, Justin, Rachel and Ken, and great granddaughters Aisling and Payten.
She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Reid (Wayne), and brother, Doug Farr (Elizabeth) and by her sister-in-law, Mary Farr (Wayne).
Lois was predeceased by her parents Myrle and Nellie Farr and sisters, Jean Myers (Howard), Helen Davidson (John), Norma Cameron (Bob), Doris Wherry (Fred), Shirley Cairns (Robert), Ruth Ames (Claude), Joan McKenzie (William), and brothers, Raymond, Clifford (Joan) and Larry.
Lois was a long time employee at Robinson’s Department Store. She most loved entertaining her family, especially during the holidays. Lois and John often volunteered transporting children back and forth to the Shriner’s Hospital for treatment in Erie, Penn. And selling Shriner Christmas cakes throughout the Niagara Region.
While living on Champa Drive, Lois and John won multiple Trillium Awards. Lois enjoyed the work they put into their property, and photographs of their accomplishment were proudly displayed in her room. As well, Lois and John looked forward to the time spent each winter in Mexico.
Randy and Gregory would like to offer thanks to Shawna and the entire staff in Bradley Court at West Hills in St.Catharines for their amazing care of Mom. They never failed to treat her with kindness and respect.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
