HOLMES, Mary Lou – Unexpectedly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, February 6, 2003. Dear Aunt of Kathleen and her husband Bill Hughes and Cynthia Holmes all of California. Great-aunt of Robert and James Hughes. Predeceased by her brother Robert Holmes. Mary Lou was a mathematics teacher with the Niagara School Board for many years, was the director for many school musicals, was also a dance instructor and ran a dance studio in her youth. Mary Lou was a devoted and active member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist St. Catharines.
A Celebration of Life will be held at THE HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Monday, February 10, 2003 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to First Church of Christ, Scientist, St. Catharines, 178 ½ Geneva St., St. Catharines, ON L2R 4P3 would be appreciated.
