MALONE, Matthew S.-Passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on July 23rd, 2011 in his 79th year. Loving husband to Anne. Cherished father to Shane (Alison) Pilling, Kim (Allan) Read, and Kevin (Lisa) Malone. Grandfather to Kyle, Garrett, and Patrick Pilling, Johnathan and Colin Read, and Cody Malone. Also survived by his sisters Kathleen Traynor, Frances Johnston, Irene Beaudry. Matthew will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Edward Malone. Matthew was a Korean War Veterean, and a member of the Korean Veteran Association. A special thank-you to the staff and support staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Thursday, August 4th, 2011 at 7:00 in the evening.
