BERRY, Melvin Charles – Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 6, 2004 at his home in his 60th year. Devoted husband of Barb Berry; loving father of Brandon, Kirk and Jackie; lovingly remembered by Kathy Keown, whom he raised as his own daughter. Survived by his brother Dennis and his wife Debbie and their children Brent and Jamie, also survived by his grandchildren Byron, Berkeley and Rielle. Predeceased by his parents Borden and Margaret and brother Brian. He will be sadly missed by his cousin Dick who was like a brother, Dick’s sons Scott, Mark and Glenn and Dick’s grandson Stephen. Mel will never be forgotten by his many friends and family members who knew him as a kin man who never hesitated to help anyone in a time of need. After a long struggle with health issues, Mel is eternally at peace.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, 905-684-6346, on Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m. with a Service to follow in the Chapel at 3 p.m. at Mel’s request cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lupus Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
