Nadia Andrusiw

Passed away peacefully at Linhaven, on Friday April 12, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Michael Andrusiw (1999). Cherished mother of Olga Gagne (Brian) and Victor Andrusiw (Joyce). Loving Baba to Kristen Rose (Sean) and Alyssa Andrusiw, and great grandmother to Sierra Rose. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

Nadia was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1927. After WWII she immigrated to Canada in 1949 and settled in Lethbridge, Alberta. Nadia and Mike moved to St. Catharines in 1957 and became active members of St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Nadia was president of the Women's Auxiliary for St. George's and also sang with the choir for many years. Her devotion to her family and her church was unsurpassed. Nadia's friendly nature and outgoing personality will always be remembered.

Family will receive friends at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 8 Augusta Ave, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 9:30-10 AM. A funeral mass will follow at the church.
