

Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines site of the Niagara Health System on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was in his 95th year. Glen was the much loved husband of the late Agnes (nee Campbell, August 22, 1917 – August 23, 1993) to whom he was married for 47 years. He is survived by their three sons Robert Edgar (Kathy) of Niagara Falls, David Neil (Anne) of Toronto and Bryce Glen of St. Catharines. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, Scott (Cecilia) and Shannon (Jen and son Liam), Jennifer, D’Arcy and Andrew, and Maya and Fiona. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Reason. Glen was born on October 31, 1919 in Binscarth, Manitoba and was raised in Thamesford, Ontario. During WWII he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and he was a proud veteran. After the war he was employed by the Income Tax Department while he pursued a designation as a chartered accountant. He had a successful practice as a chartered accountant in St. Catharines for many years continuing past the age of 90. He worked hard at his career, loved to travel to warm and sunny places, watch a Leafs hockey game and was always ready to take a turn on the dance floor.
There will be a private family Funeral. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Glen’s name to the Niagara Health System for palliative care programs.
