Ronald Wayne Gough

On February 26, 2017, we said goodbye to one of the best men we’ve ever known. After a long fight with cancer, surrounded by his family at home, it was time for a well deserved rest. It was through his love, generosity and kindness that those around him learned what it meant to be a true family man and an exceptional human being. An inspiring role model, husband, father, grandfather, and best friend. Ron enjoyed life to the fullest. Through his sense of humour and sheer giving spirit, no smile was ever missing when he was in the room. Ron was employed with W.S. Tyler for 39 years. His legacy will live on through his loving family, wife Pat, sons; Shane and his wife Kelly, Stacy and his wife Joanna and Faron and his partner Dave. Loving Papa to Shinika, Natasha, Mackenzie, and Jacob. Lovingly remembered by his brothers, sisters and their families. We love you, in our hearts always.

A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Sunday, March 12th from 1-4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Suites and Conference Centre - “Austin Room A&B”, 327 Ontario Street (905-688-2324). Heartfelt thanks to Jan and Megan from Paramed for their care and compassion. If so desired, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Ron’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
