It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald William (Raun) Troyan on Thursday May 2, 2024 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 34 years to Ingrid Troyan. Step-father to Rick MacMillan, the late Lori MacMillan (Jan. 8 2024), Randy (Nancy) MacMillan, Sue (Rick) MacMillan, Poppa to Kyle (Alexis) MacMillan. Great poppa to Karter MacMillan. Raun has been reunited with his mother Luba Kanski, father Peter Troyan and brother Gary Troyan. Raun will be greatly missed by his brothers Michael (Julianne) Troyan, Terry (the late Grace) Troyan, sister Rose (Simon) Kooter, and niece Miranda and nephews Trevor and Andy.
Raun had a great love for all animals domestic or wild he was known for bringing kittens or baby raccoons home and would nurse them until they could be released.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Hulse & English Funeral Home, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines.
Memorial donations to the Humane Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
