Roy Carl Boadway

Beloved husband of Grace (Koloday), father of Lynn Freels of Toronto and Cheryl Bachorski (Kyle) of Bolton, stepfather of Guy Neyedly of Oakville, Ivy of Florida & Liz of Toronto and also of Janet Neyedly. Grandfather of Paddon, Emma, Sarah, Cynthia, & Jacob. Fun loving brother to Irene Scully (James) of Montana & Dennis Boadway (Bozena) of Aylmer, ON. Brother-in-law to Bob Koloday (Jaime McCaffie) of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephew & many cousins.

Roy was born in Toronto on Oct. 19, 1935, son of Norman & Gertrude Boadway (Sleightholm). Roy was a printer, with most of his career at the Toronto Telegram. He enjoyed hunting, canoeing & fishing, skating and tennis. He also enjoyed his trips to Florida. He loved cars & was often seen in the summer, driving his Mercedes convertible sportscar.

Friends and family will be received at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 75 Church St., St. Catharines (905-684-6346) on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 from 1 - 2 PM. Attendance is by appointment only. Please call Hulse & English to book a 15 minute appointment for visitation. Guests are asked to remain in their vehicles until the scheduled appointment time. Gathering in the parking lot and hallways is not permitted. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 PM. Attendance is by RSVP only. Please call Hulse & English to reserve a place.
