Gone ahead to await us in paradise and perfection, Thea Voordouw peacefully passed in her sleep Nov. 10 in her 84th year. Loving wife to Hank (2008) for 54 years they made a beautiful life in Canada, arriving from Holland in 1954. Will always be missed by her children, Hank (Celia), Marjetta (Ed), Sonja (Dennis), Juanita (Craig) and Bernice. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Jaap and Ferdinand (Alice) in the Netherlands. A loving provider to Verna Priestman and Nathan Magder for many years.
The family with receive friends at Hulse & English Wednesday Nov 16 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service Thursday Nov 17, 11 am, Grace Community Church, 241 St. David's Rd. West. Floral tributes are graciously declined. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association. Our mother lived her life with a quiet dignity and deep abiding faith in her Lord.
