Passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Devoted husband to Catherine Lukacs (Sinclair) for 53 years. Loving father to Mike (Kori) and Joanne (Jason). Amazing "Papa T" to Henry and Addy.
Tim retired from General Motors after over 20 years. He was a proud Welland Volunteer Firefighter for 13 years and a member of the King’s Hunt and Fish Club for 48 years. Timmer loved spending time with family and friends, toasting at every celebration. He was a tremendous supporter of the Veterans at the Welland and Fonthill Legions. He raised money through poppy sales and spent countless hours collecting cans and metals turning them into donations for the Legions.
Thank you to the staff and doctors at the Welland Hospital for taking such good care of Tim while he was there.
Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel. A Celebration of Life for Timmer will be held at the Fonthill Legion, Branch 613; 141 Hwy 20 East, Fonthill on Sunday April 27th 1pm-4pm. If desired, memorial donations made to Branch 613, Royal Canadian Legion or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
