BRYDGES, Verna Mae (Jackson) – died peacefully at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. Loving mother to Jeff, and Sherry (Dan) Laferriere. Verna will be sorely missed by her grandson Jesse. Survived by her sisters Shirley, Murtle and Ruth. Verna will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Mom loved her family dinners, camping and the cottage. Verna was a volunteer at the St. Catharines General Hospital Women’s Auxiliary also at Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed car club and belonged to Christ MacNab Church and was involved with many activities at the church.
Family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00. Service will follow in the Chapel at 3:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
