He was the beloved husband to Bernice Pinnock and loving father to his children Suzanne, Golda, Andrew and Richard and his grandchildren. Walvert is also survived by his eldest daughter Dionne Ross and her two children. He is remembered by his siblings, in-laws and countless brothers and sisters in Christ.
Walvert had many skills and wore many career hats from chauffeur to manager but will be remembered for his work at the City of Vaughan. He loved to swim, dive, and ride his bicycle. He also loved to discuss politics and talk about cars. He will be remembered as a loving, kind, and caring man.
Friends will be received on Thursday August 13th 2026 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines. A funeral service will be held at St. Catharines Seventh Day Adventist Church, 302 Scott Street, St. Catharines on Friday August 14th at 11:00am with a burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
