Peacefully passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Hospice Niagara, in his 84th year. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his partner Bernd “Ben” Waschke. Predeceased by his wife Martha “Jean” (1988). Survived by his children; Bill, Lauralee “Lee” and Steven and three grandsons. Dear brother of Donald (Georgina) and the late Whitney “Ted”. Bill was a mariner with Imperial Oil Ltd. For 36 years, retiring in 1986.
In accordance with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery (please meet at the main gates on Queenston Street for 10:45 a.m.).
