William "Bill" Lloyd Kearsey

KEARSEY, William (Bill) Lloyd - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 20th at St. Catharines General Hospital in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his wife Wilda (Billie) in 2004. Sadly missed by daughter Colleen (Tim) Burns, son Brian (Connie)Kearsey and sister Audrey Gregory. Lovingly remembered by niece Linda Landry (John Ellison) and nephew Grant (Jan) Kearsey. Cherished by grandchildren Kim (Greg) Gummerson, Katie Kearsey (Jason Tarrant) Matthew Kearsey and step-grandson Danny Burns. Also survived by great-grandchildren Dana Gummerson, Alex Gummerson and Carter Tarrant. Deeply missed by Sally, who shared a loving relationship in their widowed years. Bill was a long time employee of Hayes Dana. He was a Major and oldest living officer with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment. Bill will be missed by many, including the members of Knox Presbyterian Church, where Bill was an Elder and long time member. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346). A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 24th at Knox Presbyterian Church 53 Church Street, St. Catharines L2R 3C3 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
