Charlotte Smith, 77, passed away July 18, 2013. Loving mother of Russel (Mary) Smith, loving sister of Milton (Mary Ann) Foerste, loving aunt of Ann Warrick and Christopher Foerste, loving great-aunt of six, long time best friend of Glenda Smith, former spouse to Fred O. Smith.
Charlotte was always active in her church. She volunteered for her political party and the Red Cross. Charlotte loved her St. Louis Cardinals and Country Music.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, July 22nd , at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson. On Tuesday, July 23rd , Visitation will begin at 9 AM at Mount Tabor United Church of Christ, 6520 Arsenal St. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 10 AM. The Service will continue at 1 PM at Zion United Church of Christ, Addieville, IL at 1:00 PM with burial will follow at Zion Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Mount Tabor United Church of Christ or The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
