Elaine was a dear friend for years to me and my sister Sandy. She was a wonderful funny person and I am so sad that she is gone. I know she'll go to heaven because she was a caring giving person. I was privileged to know you and I will miss you Elaine.

I'd like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Elaine. Elaine was such a funny, witty, generous person with a terrific sense of humor. She was a compassionate nurse to the parents and children. Everyone enjoyed working with Elaine- she could lift your spirits as soon as you heard her voice.

We are keeping your family and friends in thought and prayers.  Elaine will be missed.  She has been a part of our family forever (50  years).  She was a life long friend to many.  She could brighten up any day with her sunny disposition.  She kept her sense of humor even in the final days.  "Hi, honey" sentiments will be missed. Thoughts and condolences are sent your way.  Carol Philipak informed me of Elaine's passing and she will continue to remain in my heart and memory.  Elaine is synonymous with love, humor, kindness, and delight; I am ever grateful to have shared a part of my life with her.  Her smile stays with me.  I wish her soul peace.

An Angel entered Heaven on April 1st..My heart is aching and I will miss my dear friend, Elaine so very much...

We were very sorry to hear of Elaine's passing.  I kept hoping for a miracle.  I'll miss the planning that we did for meals when Steve and Lorie came to St. Louis.  I liked being the "other St. Louis aunt."  Even though we were never really related, our kids thought of you as an aunt.  When younger, they didn't understand that we were never truly related.  As we will, take comfort knowing that Elaine is in a better place, without pain.  I imagine a happy reunion in heaven with her mom and dad. We will miss her.

Elaine has made my heart smile many times over.  She was a warm and  compassionate person.  We will miss her.

Words cannot express how much I will miss Elaine.  Elaine was a good friend, a true friend, and a best friend.  Elaine loved all of you and valued family.  I will miss our daily/weekly chats, her laugh, and her funny stories. The consolation I have is knowing she is in a better place pain free and without struggle and watching over all of us.

Elaine was one of the best ER nurses I have ever worked with in over 25 years. She could put patients and families at ease, had a great sense of humor and was fun to always be around. Her smile and positive attitude were infectious.

I worked with Elaine many years ago when the program started at Cardinal Glennon.  I haven't seen her in years but have thought of her often.  She had the most beautiful smile and her laugh was contagious.  She does have her wings now and she will be watching over all of us.

Elaine touched many people's lives in her short time with us. She was a caring and loving person. We feel lucky to have had her as our friend.

We have lost our dear friend Elaine but Heaven has gained a most gentle soul.  Elaine's optimism, zest for life, and compassion inspired us all.  We miss her so much.

I offer my most sincere condolences to Elaine's family, friends and coworkers at her loss.  Elaine was a truly special soul, and we were all blessed that she shared and brightened our path as we traveled through this world.  It has been several years since I worked with the SSM H&W group, but I will always carry with me a picture of her smile and the memory of her laughter.  She was a joke and a laugh, kind-hearted and cheerful, the kind of person you were fortunate to know and thankful to work beside.  Those of us who knew Elaine understood that she wasn't just the voice on the other line at 2:00 a.m. in the morning when your child was on fire, and you needed advice.  She was sweet and spirited, witty and kind.  As a new mother, I remember my calls to her, and finding genuine warmth, compassion and concern.  For this, I thank you.  And, on behalf of every mother who called you late at night asking for your help for her sick child, and for every person you took the time to engage and make your friend, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As you are welcomed Home by HE who makes all things, know that those left behind are better still for having walked beside you.  Hugs to you my friend!  You will be missed!
