

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia (Pona), his children, Chris (Tom) Macarthy, Ed (Mary) Migneco, Grace (John) Barry, Lynda (Michael) Reeder and his grandchildren, Anna (Erin Willis) Migneco, Benjamin Reeder, Tate Macarthy, Gina Migneco, Will Macarthy, Luke Macarthy, Nina Migneco, John, Katie & Olivia Barry.
He is preceded in death by his parents Vincenzo & Maria Rosa Migneco, his in laws, Raimondo and Marianna Pona, his sisters, Nancy (Louis) Verdin & Millie (John) Keane, his grandson, Eric Macarthy. He was a loved brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin & friend.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 7, 1928. He graduated from St. Louis University & Harris Stowe College with his Master’s degree in Education.
He worked for 39 years for the St. Louis Public School System as an educator & administrator spending the majority of his years at Roosevelt High School.
He was a Korean War veteran.
He was an avid bowler for over 50 years, bowling at age 80 for 3 days a week, especially Thursday nights for the teacher’s league. He loved gardening, manning the barbeque grill on holidays, woodworking in his shop & his great sarcastic sense of humor.

Funeral from Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson, on Wed. Dec. 13, 2017 at 9:30am to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for Mass at 10am.
