Helen G. Hoekel, age 97, Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection on March 21, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Hoekel. Loving mother of the late Judy (Charles) Caughlan and Patricia (the late Robert) Schmidt. Dearest grandmother of Mary (Randy) Choate, Robin Schmidt, Cathy (David) Sbur and Michael (Machaela) Caughlan. Loving great grandmother of Priscilla (Patrick) Reavey, Jeremiah Chappell, Nate Caughlan and Stella Caughlan, and John Sbur. Dear great-great grandmother of Sean and Kristian. Dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Services: The family will receive friends Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:30AM until the service beginning at 10:30AM at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson. The interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10AM at St. Simon the Apostle Church on 11011 Mueller Rd.
