Beloved husband of the late Jane A. Walsh (nee Kaiser); father of Julie Ann Reese, John P. (Paula Bohr) Walsh and Michael J. (Maureen) Walsh; grandfather of Wendy (Gregg) Flinn, Daniel Walsh and Eileen (Roscoe) Webb; great-grandpa to Connor Reese Flinn and Keith Garrett Webb; brother-in-law of Warren and Ellie Kaiser; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.
John was a proud World War II veteran and avid barbershopper with 63 years in the Barbershop Harmony Society. He retired after 42 years at Western Electric, volunteered for autistic children through CWA Pioneers and was a member of St. Gabriel Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church on Thurs., Sept. 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment with full military honors will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to St. Louis Backstoppers.
