Martin D. Williams

Williams, Martin "Marty" Dietrich, of Hillsboro, Missouri, was born October 8, 1949, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Mary (née O’ Leary) Drews and Harry Williams and entered into rest with Love, Thursday, August 22, 2013, at his home in Hillsboro, at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 14 days.

He is preceded in death by his son, Martin "Young Marty" John Williams, his father Harry E. Williams, one (1) sister, Harriet Williams and three (3) brothers, Jeremiah O'Leary, Harry Williams, Jr. and James Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (née Ries) Williams, married August 10, 1968 in St. Louis Missouri, MO, and his son, Jeremiah Nicholas Williams.

Marty had six (6) grandchildren; Ashlee Jeremiah Williams, Jayme Ries Williams, Nikki Miah Williams, Zoe Claire Williams, Zachary, Miranda , and Sierra Gore, and eight (8) siblings, Brenda Williams-Morrison, Charles Williams, Annie Williams, Chris Williams, Victoria Wood, Pamela Smith, Cynthia Meadows and Michelle “Mikki” Haeffner.

Marty was a dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many.

He was a devoted husband, father & grandpa, a wonderful friend to everyone and loved by all. To Mary, Marty was her "everything".

Marty worked his whole life as a lithographer for Western Lithoplate and Supplies. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Marty was a self-taught craftsman and enjoyed building furniture.

He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, 9:30am

at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church, 6737 S. Rock Hill Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123
