Milagros Abrigo Spearman

Mila was the loving mother and mother-in-law of the late Edgardo Abrigo and Elvie Abrigo; dearest grandma of Vince (Garrett Romines) Abrigo, Bruce Abrigo, Marianne Abrigo, and Reese Abrigo; beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt, and a dear friend to many in her lifetime.

Mila moved to the United States from the Philippines in the 1960's and established herself as an in-demand seamstress. She moved from California to Saint Louis in 2004 to be near her son and his family. Mila was generous, a wonderful singer, a loving and dear person, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, October 26 from 2-5pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 27 at 10am at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 4200 Ripa Avenue at Union Road 63125. Rite of Committal will follow Mass at Resurrection Cemetery.
