Randal William Keim, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. Born on March 12, 1949, to William Keim and Helen Harris, Randal lived a life rich in curiosity, service, and love.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Eddie Keim.

Randal is survived by his children, Stephen Eddington and Michelle “Tidbits” McIntosh (Doug); his grandchildren Savannah Swann (Brendan), Antonio McIntosh, Shawn McIntosh, Syd, Layla, and Bonnie; and his great-grandchildren, Brantley and Alina Swann. He is also survived by his special friend, Sharon Ogden, who held a meaningful place in his life.

A man with an adventurous spirit, Randal found joy in treasure hunting with his metal detector, always eager for the thrill of discovery. He dedicated his career to helping others as a paramedic and played a role in pioneering respiratory technology—work that reflected both his skill and his deep compassion for those in need. He was also a proud member of the Mod Squad at Big Barnes, where he formed lasting friendships and memories.

Randal cherished the outdoors and felt most at home surrounded by nature. He loved to travel, exploring San Francisco, Europe, and anywhere the road led him. Whether journeying far from home or simply sitting beneath an open sky, he found peace in the world around him. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family, whose love was the greatest adventure of his life.

Randal will be remembered for his curiosity, kindness, and unwavering zest for life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
