Rosemary was always kind to me and my family back in the 70's  when she and her brother Lou flew back to Greensburg, Pa ,via Pittsburgh airport with Martin's body.  Such grander people I have never known.  Once I had to attend a conference in St. Louis for work and I had contacted Rosemary ahead of time and she met me at the hotel and took me  in the park  for a play and told me about Joe's passing...and another day to the new baseball stadium and game and then to the airport..Such a grand lady.  I will never forget her although I will be 71 I still work full-time and the memory still is working.

I tried to keep  through cards and for some reason I pulled up facebook on Rosemary and saw the information.  God bless everyone.

May eternal light shine upon you. You were a wonderful person to work with at DCASR. You will be remembered by many because you were a good and kind soul. Sorry I wasn't there to say good bye in person.  I just found out today.

Rosemary was an angel.  She was the definition of the word Grace.  Her gentle and witty spirit will always live in all our hearts.  She was Aunt Rosemary to all of the Graham family because she was so very special to us all. Uncle Joe was Dad's best friend and he and Aunt Rosemary shared many wonderful years with our family (Red & Betty Graham). We are so thankful to have had that kind of love in our lives.  I take solace in knowing that Rosemary is now in God's arms and that they are planning her next important role.

Rosemary, your were more family than friend to our family. You and Joe were my parents best friend. Even after their passing, you stayed close to our family.  You gave unconditionally. Your beautiful smile and warm heart will be greatly missed.

Rosemary was a very sweet person.  I met her as a volunteer at the Missouri Botanical Garden.  She gave my granddaughter an advent calendar every year and my granddaughter still remembers that..  She was a good friend.

Can't even put into words how much we will miss Rosemary. Every time I walk by the Lily Pond I will think fondly of her.

We met Rosemary as volunteers for the President's office at the Missouri Botanical Garden.  The last time we worked with her was back in October.  She shared many stories of her family, especially all the wonderful times with her nieces and nephews.  Rosemary was always on top of the latest news and she loved to converse about how the times have changed in her life time, yet always upbeat.  She will be sadly missed as our fellow volunteer.
To Rosemary's family:  For every memory in your heart, this brings a wish for peace.

My sister's and I always called Rosemary our fourth sister.  I'm going to miss you sis.  Things will never be the same.  We will try to get along without you but it will be so tough. You were one of the most caring and generous people I ever met.

Rosemary, I can honestly say that you were the most sincere, the warmest, and the most loving woman. Your smile lit up every room you were in. You were always an honorary grandma to my brother and I, an honorary aunt to my mom and dad, and such an amazing cousin/honorary sister to my grandpa Angelo. You did so much for my family for the long time that my grandma was sick, and you were such a dear part of Angelo's life and ours as well. I couldn't wait to have you be a part of my wedding, and there will now surely be an emptiness there without your presence. You will be so, so incredibly missed by all of those who were blessed to have known you.

Rosemary you brought such Joy into my life, your quick wit, laugh and thoughtfulness will be remembered always.  You will be missed.

Rosemary and Joe Spitler were beloved by the Compton Heights Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) family.  We give thanks for Rosemary's life, love, and joy.  May each of those who have loved her and been blessed by her life, now be filled with the gifts of her spirit.  May God hold you and keep you, as God holds Rosemary now and forever.

Rosemary was a very kind and wonderful person. She was always so friendly and upbeat. We were the best of friends from the moment we meet shortly after her retirement. She brought me and my family into to her loving arms.  She enjoyed her time as a volunteer at the Garden and I enjoyed working with her over the years as our friendship grew.  Our prayers are with you all.

God gave me my most wonderful gift when he made you my best and dearest friend for the past 55-plus years.  Was so shocked by your death.   Don't know how I can go on without you but I guess I'll have to try.  You always gave so much more than I gave to you.

Oh to lose such a good person who did so much for so many! I knew Rosemary because she was the wonderful wife Joe brought into our lives. My sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Red Graham considered Rosemary and Joe dear and close friends. Now they are all gone. My condolences to Rosemary's family. A very special woman will be sadly missed. I have many very happy memories I will hold in my heart

You have been such a wonderful friend and neighbor.You will be with me every time I am in Francis Park when I walk, run, or relax on a bench by the Lily Pond. The Maroney family is deeply saddened by the passing of our sweet Aunt Rosemary. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Bertani family and we find comfort in knowing that she is once again with Uncle Joe. May God give you strength and comfort.
