

Preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and William Keister, sister Doris Keister, brother Donald Keister, and nephews, Michael Coleman, Gene Keister, and Roger Keister. Lucille is survived by her sister, Delores Coleman, nieces and nephews Jean Wilke, Janice Bilek, Dennis Coleman, James Coleman, Daniel Coleman and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Lucille served in the U.S. Navy (WAVE) during World War II, stationed at U.S. Navy Air Station, Alameda, California.
After the war, Lucille moved to Connecticut. She developed a keen interest in flying while in the Navy and obtained her pilots license in 1947. She flew for pleasure, and also worked for Boeing, transferring to Texas where she lived before moving to St. Paul, Minnesota where she worked as a bookkeeper. In 1957, Lucille moved to California and worked as an accountant and Assistant Treasurer for American International Pictures in Hollywood. After retirement, she moved back to St. Paul, Minnesota to be near family.
Lucille loved to travel and toured England, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Western Canada, and Hawaii. She revisited the Alpine regions of several countries as “they were the most beautiful of all”.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 30, 2025 at 11:30 am with visitation from 10:30-11:30 am at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN. 55106, followed by inurnment at 1:00 pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55450.
