

Great-Grandma & Friend
Mary Ellen was born in St. Paul, MN on August 3, 1927. She passed away peacefully and entered into Heaven's gates on April 18, 2016 after a long and blessed life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred in 1964; parents, Joseph & Mary (Walsh) Krawczak; brothers, Bill and Joe; granddaughter Marie. Mary Ellen is survived by her (6) six loving and devoted children; John Fohrenkamm, Stephen (Ann) Fohrenkamm, Gail (Gregg) Wilson, Cindy (Dan) Leary, Daniel (Christine) Fohrenkamm , and Jean (Mike) Brennan. Also survived by 20 loving and special grandchildren; Michael (Christina) Marich, Laura (Justin) Miller, Colleen (Raj) Arumugam, Jennifer (Ed) DelRio, Jill Nelson, Brandon Marich, Luke (Jessica) Fohrenkamm, David (Michelle) Fohrenkamm, Joseph (Rebecca) Fohrenkamm, Fred Fohrenkamm, Sarah (Ronaldo) Correia, Nicholas Blaisdell, Sean Brennan, Cassandra Leary, Thomas (Leslie) Fohrenkamm, Calli Brennan, Paul Fohrenkamm, Andrew Brennan, Mary Fohrenkamm, and Susan Fohrenkamm. Mary Ellen was blessed to know and love her 18 great-grandchildren; Owen Fohrenkamm, Lilah Strohkirch, Ellen Fohrenkamm, Christiano Correia, Nadine Arumugam, Leonardo Correia, Blake Miller, Peter Fohrenkamm, Shea Marich, Dylan Arumugam, Ruby Nelson, Jane Fohrenkamm, Nicholas Marich, David Fohrenkamm Jr., Claire Fohrenkamm, Daniel Frandson, Everson DelRio, and Zoe Fohrenkamm. She is also survived by other relatives and very dear friends. Mary Ellen had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for many years, where her children attended school. Over the years, and especially since her retirement from Ramsey County in 1994, she was very involved with her church, singing in the choir and volunteering her time at the Ramsey Nursing Home. Mary Ellen liked to cook, read, draw, and bowl and enjoyed spending time with, and going out to lunch with, her friends. Her biggest passion and joy, however, was her family! Unconditional love, understanding, caring, and her presence are the gifts she gave to each of her children, sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was truly one in a million!! Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 26 at 11 am at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (1725 Kennard St., Maplewood) Visitation 5-8 pm Monday (4/25/16) at Wulff Funeral Home (1485 White Bear Ave. St. Paul) and 10 -11 am on Tuesday at church. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The family wants to acknowledge and give special thanks to the members of Health Partners Hospice-Team #7 for the exceptional care and comfort they provided to our mother, as well as to her children.
