Melvin will be greatly missed by his wife of 70 years, Beverly; children, Patricia (Steve) Urtel, Bonnie (Tom) LeMere, Nancy (Peter) Haag; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Julie Branum. Melvin, a Marine, served in WWII on Iwo Jima. Semper Fi dad. Funeral service will take place at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul, on Thursday, June 8 at 2pm. Visitation will begin at 1pm. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
