Patrick John Langevin

Patrick was pre-deceased in death by parents William and Marie (Wanless). Survived by siblings William (Cheryl), Greg (Carol), Chris (John) Podobinski, David (Debbie), Scott (Debby), Leighann McKenzie and Jeff (Michelle).

Patrick worked 32 years for Merrick, Inc. There, he enjoyed working at many projects especially gardening. He participated in the Special Olympics and won 1st and 2nd place ribbons in the Track and Field Events. He enjoyed car rides, sitting on the deck and enjoying the sunshine always with a smile on his face. He loved people and always greeted everyone with a handshake. He always greeted his sister-in-law Cheryl with a hug coming and going during his weekly visits. Patrick and Cheryl had fun playing table hockey. Cheryl loved Patrick with all her heart.

Special thanks to Barbara Sims, Pat’s caregiver, who was dedicated to Patrick’s care and needs for 16 years. She watched over Patrick and loved him like a brother. Thanks so very much Barbara. You were a very special person in Patrick’s life.

Another very special person was Christine McGonagle. Pat’s case manager. She advocated on Pat’s behalf and always made sure that Pat’s needs were met. We will always be grateful for what Christine did for him. Thank you so much Christine.

We are very grateful for the excellent services and care Attorney Thomas Krause and Dr. David Rossmiller provided Patrick over the years.

Thank you to the Phoenix Residence staff for the excellent care you gave Patrick. You will always be very special to us.
