Retired, St. Paul Schools and former Hamm's brewery worker, died on May 4, 2012. US Army Veteran. Enjoyed the outdoors & time at his cabin. Longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl. Survived by wife, Virginia; daughter, Debra (Dr. Curtis) Cich of Maple Grove MN; son, Scott of Ellsworth WI; 6 grandchildren: Amanda (Justin) Day, Rebecca, Jeffrey & Jason Cich, Sophia & Seth Korman; 4 great-grandchildren: Auree, Zoey, Lucy & Matthew; sisters, Ruth Quade of Deerwood MN & Colleen (Norman) Wheelock of Buena Vista CO; 3 nephews, extended family & friends. Funeral Service: 11 AM, Tues, May 8 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 655 Forest St., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment in Union Cemetery.
