Born on October 6, 1926, Bob passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2021. Bob served 2 years in the U.S. Navy, World War II and was stationed at Olongapo, in the Philippines Islands. He was a proud member of the St. Paul Police Department for 48 years and rose through the ranks from Patrolman to Captain/Commander.
Bob is preceded in death by daughter, Roberta. He is survived by his loving wife, Lilia; children, Fred (Alissa), Jim (Monita); stepchildren, Paola, Ivan, Roxana; and Murray (Roberta’s fiancé); grandchildren: Chase, Olivia, Savanna, Alexis, Robert and Wyatt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am with Visitation one hour prior to service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Church of St. Pascal Baylon, 1757 Conway Street (3rd St. and White Bear Ave.) St. Paul, MN. Reception to follow at Mancini’s Char House from 12:15 -2:15 pm. Private Burial at Hillside Cemetery following reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Lung Association or American Heart Association.
