Thomas F. Squires

Age 73, of Standstone, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 after a 4 yr. courageous battle against throat cancer.

Preceded in death by parents, Thomas S. and Ruth Squires; siblings, Ruthann Cummings and Terrance Squires.

For 30 yrs. Tom worked for the Teamsters Local 120, and enjoyed his time outdoors going fishing, deer hunting, and camping. He often enjoyed doing word finds and playing bingo. Tom’s most joyous time that he loved dearly, was being with his 3 grandsons.

Tom is survived by his wife of 52 yrs., Nancy; children, Mary (Brian) LaRoue, Thomas R., Joseph (Tammy); grandsons, Joey Squires, Jake LaRoue, Zach LaRoue; special nephews, Ryan Coleman and Ted Reeves; many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Celebration of Life Friday, October 19th 3-7 PM at Forest lake American Legion 355 W. Broadway Ave, Forest Lake.

Private family interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
