John Gabriel Sylliboy

Born on June 16, 1966 to George and Grace Sylliboy. Johnny owned and managed Muin Gas in Eskasoni for many years. He worked at the store with nephews & nieces Hayden, Danial, Alaia and Metayah. All of the nieces and nephews will be missing their favourite uncle when they go to the store. He was known for his many stories and always having the time to spend with his customers. Johnny loved spending time with friends, gambling and traveling. He also enjoyed spending time with family and especially his nieces and nephew's birthday celebrations.

We were all blessed to have known him even if it was only 60 years. He will be missed by his family, parents George & Grace Sylliboy, son Damon, siblings Terrance (Sonya), Joe K (Ann), Beb, Doll, Cindy (Al), Ann and Rita, godmother Harriet Marshall, godchildren George, Kerrie Ann, Maddy, Allystarr, Jewel, Adam, Isabella, Blade, Cody & Andrew Jr. and friends Chris, Andrew, Elton and many others.

Johnny was predeceased by sister Simone, brother-in-law Dennis, grandparents Mary Paul and Simon & Mary Sylliboy as well as godfather Victor Jeddore and nephews George T. and John W.

A visitation will take place at the Gabriel Centre starting at 7pm on Saturday, July 11 and continuing until the start of Mass on Monday, July 13 at 10:00am at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni with Fr.
