Mary Margaret Isadore

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister, Mary Margaret Peck, aka Mary Lou of Wagmatcook, at the age of 61. Mary passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Mary was a good horseshoe player, a great card player and she loved her scooter that was given to her from our Health Centre. She was an awesome cook. Born in Baddeck on August 6, 1964. She was the daughter of the late Michael Peck (June) and Emily Peck (Isadore).

Mary will be sadly missed by her husband Peter Isadore, her only son Marcus of Wagmatcook, her sisters Norma Jean and Alice Peck, both of Wagmatcook, brothers Howard, Keptin Douglas Peck, Roy and Charles "Chuckie" all of Wagmatcook. She was predeceased by her daughters Marilyn and Mary (in infancy), sister Margaret, brothers Malcolm, Terry and Maynard all of Wagmatcook.

A visitation will be held at her residence 10624 Highway 105, Wagmatcook starting at 7pm on Sunday, July 19 and continuing until the start of the Mass on Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00am at Queen of the World Church in Wagmatcook.
