AJ was my friend back in Kindergadren all the way up until 5th grade I had only found out yesterday that he had passed and I was so hurt becasue AJ was one of my best friends growing up at henderson. Always wondered were AJ went after 5th grade and the last time I saw AJ was at the gym. Your son was one of the best people I knew there was never a dull moment with AJ. I pray for the graica family. AJ im gonna miss you.

My memories of AJ running all over the stands and field at Jesuit are so fresh and being able to recall his smile and the joy he brought everyone is everlasting. I’m truly saddened by this news and continue to pray for the family as they mourn and must continue to cope with this incredible loss. 

RIP bro I miss when we me you Logan Kevin Mason and all of us used to sit in the cafeteria laughing making  jokes and chilling and now you are not here I miss you every day big bro love you brother  and fly high

I loved AJ, very much!! My husband  and I watched him grow throughout the years.  I see him in my kitchen window, saying hello. He will be greatly missed!! Rest in heaven!!! Till we meet again!!! Such a proper, loving,caring young man. 

The 1st time I met AJ was in Kindergarten as he walked - or should I say danced in line down the hall, a full head taller than his classmates, beaming a smile like a lighthouse shining light on the world. That is AJ. I watched him grow throughout his years at Henderson, always happy, always kind and caring towards everyone around him. I was delighted when he appeared in my 6th grade class at SLAM, still the same vibrant personality he was all those years ago, just a taller, bigger version of himself. I had him again for a period last year, and while he wasn’t “mine” this year, he’d still pop by once or twice a week to share his smile and check in.  AJ’s infectious personality brightened our world.  Let’s honor him by sharing our joy, happiness and smiles the same way he did. 

I am so sorry to hear about this.  Many prayers for all of you, as I know there are no words to ease this pain.  I remember AJ as a toddler at Robbys baseball games and at the Jesuit football games.  May you find comfort in your memories and all those that love AJ and your family.


I would see AJ every morning as he arrived at school. He was always smiling and in a happy mood. He will be greatly missed by the students and staff at SLAM.

My heart ached when your former classmates gave me the news of your passing.  I couldn't believe it! My gentle giant as I would call you. I was blessed to be your 2nd grade teacher and your elective teacher for 5 years. I truly enjoyed having you in my class. You were rays of sunshine. You were always patient and  willing to assist your classmates with a smile. Your shy morning  greetings with a short wave of hand always made my day.  I will never forget how your eyes would shine bright with pride when you would speak of your medals and trophies. Your classmates enjoyed your stories and so did I. My heart is broken to head of AJ’s passing. He was one of the sweetest students I’ve ever had the privilege of teaching. He worked hard, wanted to be the best he could be, and was always a friend to others. His genuine concern for others was something that impressed me at such a young age. I’ll never forget his sweet smile. 
I’m so glad I have this photo. All of classmates loved him as well and celebrating him was easy! So many amazing qualities and positive things to say about him.

Andrew was a very  close friend since kindergarten we both went to  Henderson Hammock. We were always the tallest in our grade it would be like a competition every year to see who was taller.
