Benjamin Vega Marin was born on January 2, 1946 in Loiza, Puerto Rico and passed away on March 7, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. In 1964, he graduated from Luis Hernaiz Veronne High School P.R. and relocated to the city of Buffalo, New York in route to seek better life opportunities. He later met the love of his life, Maria M. Rodriguez, which he married on December 18, 1983. Maria was a single mother with three sons (Hector, Elvin & Jeremias) which Benny happily raised like his own. Later they had two more children (BJ and Joshua).
Benjamin was a man of God, patient and a humble man. Benny expressed his feelings and his emotions by devoting himself playing his bass and guitar. He was a dedicated church’s musician. He was a servant of God, marvelous husband, excellent father, terrific grandfather and a very good provider. He completed a family that until now is always united. He was the family column. He will definitely and greatly be miss and no one can ever replace him.
