

He was born in Tampa, Florida on May 18, 1957. He was the second son of Oscar and Mary Crouch.
Carl had the sweetest, most loving disposition and was loved by all. He leaves behind countless people who loved him dearly. He supersedes his wife, Teresa Tate Crouch, and his brother, Oscar Leon Crouch, Jr. in death.
Carl earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He taught at various local colleges. He taught Computer Graphics Design and Film at the Academy, where he was the Department Chair. He was nominated teacher of the year on several occasions.
Carl was a passionate reader and loved to learn new things. He had a brilliant mind and intellect.
He also was a zealous music lover – from Led Zeppelin to David Bowie. He loved most kinds of music. Music meant the world to him.
Carl and his wife Teresa just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They had the kind of love only found in fairytales.
Carl will be dearly missed by his wife and family.

On November 8, 2024 a visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa, Florida 33635.
