MENENDEZ, Carlos A., III, 66, passed away on May 23, 2013 in Tampa, FL. Carlos was born on February 15, 1947 in Ybor City. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1965 and then went on to graduate from the University of South Florida. He enjoyed music and socializing with old friends over a cup of good coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Hortensia Menendez. Carlos is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Elaine V. Menendez; sons Ryan and Jason Menendez; mother-in-law Dalia Valdes; sisters Melinda Menendez and Judith Rivero; brothers-in-laws Arthur Valdes (Joan) and Dennis Valdes (Angie) as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2013 from 11AM to 1PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1PM.
