Catherine E Bennett

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Leonard and Adelbert; sister Geraldine and her husband Walter A. Bennett who passed away in 2013.

Catherine was in US Navy in communications. She met Walter (retired USMC & TIA police) when they were both stationed in Jacksonville, Fl and they were married from 1952 – 2013.

Catherine is survived by her children Carol Sivyer (husband Neal) of Tampa, Fl, Steve Bennett (wife Becky) of Lutz, Fl and Susan Vowels of Trinity, Fl; sister Pauline (husband Charlie) Dracut MA; 7 grandchildren: Brian, Kelly, Nicole (deceased), Jared, Heidi, Chris and Sean as well as 8 great grandchildren.

During her lifetime, Catherine was a homemaker and seamstress and she was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and choir member for 50 years.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12noon at St. Paul Catholic Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior at 11AM in the prayer room. Interment with military honors will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Life Path Hospice.
