He was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend.
He retired from the U.S Army as master sergeant in 2000. He spent most of his career in the Pacific Theater and retired to Brandon, Florida where he made his home.
After retirement he spent time with his friends and family and was an avid gardener. He loved to laugh and took great pride in perfecting his Cherokee Purple tomatoes and growing exotic plants.
David's military service included distinguished duty in the United States Army Special Forces, known as the Green Beret.
He will be greatly missed.
David will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, United States. The service is scheduled for November 24, 2025, from 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be sent to the American Cancer Society.
