My heartfelt condolences to Dena's family and children. Dena was my neighbor on Harbour Island and we shared Thanksgiving together with her children and friends. Also spent a wonderful evening at a worship service in December. She was a dedicated lawyer who helped many in their cases fight for justice. God bless her family and praying for God's comfort. She is now resting in peace in the arms of her Creator. Lupe Mitcham

I was fortunate enough to know Dena From Saint John of Ark. This is still a shock. Is a beautiful soul and a beautiful woman taken way too soon.

I know that nothing I say here will assuage the grief and sense of loss that her family is feeling, as well as her friends. I ask that God Provide the family with strength and wisdom through this difficult time.

I met Dena years ago on Harbour Island. I will cherish the times we spent together laughing, sharing heart felt moments, talking and walking on the boardwalk. I remember her vibrant spirit that was so contagious along with her infectious laugh, that I loved. I send my sincerest and heartfelt condolences to her family. God Bless all of you.

I taught at SJA for 36 years and Dena was one of the beautiful ones who passed through the halls. It’s more than sad to to see I’ve outlived another of my “children” . Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of this young lover of animals.
