Frances Rose DeVito

Frances was born in Paterson, New Jersey, the daughter of Alfonso M. and Marilyn A. DeVito (both predeceased).

She was a Language Arts Teacher in Hillsborough County and an Educator to many. Fran was Fran, AKA Flower Devito. A free-spirit and a strong independent woman. A rebel with and without a cause. An earth lover and animal lover. She loved spending time with family and friends, lunching and movies with girlfriends. She loved music, singing, dancing, theatre - any chance to get on a stage! Traveling, party planning, and going. Loved by many.

Frances is survived by her son, Nicholas Christian DeVito and his wife, her sisters, Marcia Lampe and her husband Al, Donna DeVito Gregory and her husband Ben; her grandchildren, Donovan and Dominic; her niece, Kimberly; her nephews, Kevin and Benjamin; and her great-nephews, Tyler, Damian and Deven.

A celebration of life gathering of family and friends is scheduled for Sunday, May 30, 2021, 1-4 p.m. with a religious service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Frances to the St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.
