Gary Alan Bybee

Gary Alan Bybee, of Clearwater, was born on February 15, 1946, passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 79. He was raised on the southside of Chicago and never lost his love for Chicago pizza and food.

Gary graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in education. He taught for a few years before deciding he wanted to be his own boss. Gary went on to own and operate a variety of businesses.

Gary was a member of the Builders Tee Club for over 25 years. He loved golf, tennis, and was very involved in the St. Rita High School wrestling program.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Josephine Bybee, and his brother Jeff "Pat" Bybee.

He is survived by his wife of almost 15 years, Cindy; children Gary (Jessica) Walker and Mark (Angie) Bybee; Tracy (Robert) Bishop, Sarah (David) Becker, and Arielle Blondell. Gary is also survived by his niece Lindsey, nephew Jeff, and 11 grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Christ The King Catholic Church, located at 821 S Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, Florida, 33629. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00pm.

Gary's sense of humor will be missed by those honored to know and love him.
