Gladys Noni C. Johnson "Noni"

Johnson, Gladys C. “Noni” 87, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday, August 14th. Born in Swain County, NC, she moved to Florida in 1960. She was a military wife for 26 years and volunteered at MacDill Air Force Base in Family Services, at Westshore Elementary School, and the election polls. She loved Bingo, cooking, crossword puzzles, and reading. She went to nursing school and worked at Gaston County Orthopedic Hospital for children. She loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William F. Johnson; and her five siblings. Gladys/Noni is survived by her daughter, Jeanie (Richard) Allen; daughter, Nancy (L.W.) Boully; daughter, Susan (Dane) Brawner; son, Jimmy (Sarah) Johnson; grandchildren: Dana, Barbara, Courtney, Mark, Dawn, A.J., Darla, Leslie, Sean, James Michael, Brittany, Shawn, Heather, and Briana; and 15 great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 23rd from 10-11am followed by a service immediately at 11am at Garden of Memories at 4207 E.
