Joe Ben Cordell, III

Joe Ben “JB” Cordell, III, 33 of Tampa, passed away on December 25, 2018. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe B. Cordell and Joyce H. Cordell. He is survived by his parents Joe and Chris Cordell of Tampa and Cashiers, NC; sister, Liz Rice (Sean) of Jacksonville; grandparents, Joe and Eleanor Weatherly of Thomasville, NC and grandmother, Elizabeth G. Stokes of Colfax, NC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom loved him very much and will miss him dearly.

JB graduated from H.B. Plant HS and attended the University of Florida where he was initiated into the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He loved nothing more than fishing on the beach at Indian Shores and hunting deer and turkey in the Florida woods. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 3rd at 11am at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa.
