Judith Annette Stewart

85, of Tampa, passed away on September 17th peacefully in her home in St. Pete Beach. Judith (Judi) was born in San Bernardino, CA, spending her early years there and in Las Vegas, NV. Her family moved to Tampa, FL where she attended the Academy of the Holy Names for middle school and then proceeded to graduate from H.B. Plant High School. She attended Florida State University and was an Alpha Delta Pi. Judi married in Gainesville then moved back to Tampa where she raised her family of five children on Sheridan Forest Dr., the best neighborhood street. While raising her family, Judi was involved in many organizations: a volunteer Sunday school teacher at Palma Ceia Methodist Church, a fixture at the Tampa Bay Little League concession stand, a member of the Junior League, Tampa Bay Community Church, and PTA at Coleman M.S and Plant H.S. Judi without hesitation opened her home for Young Life gatherings and to all her children's friends, she was truly a mother to all. Judi also worked for the family business, Beshears & Associates, taking many of her colleagues and tenants under her wing. Judi had a knack for creating special gifts for everyone, this led to her starting “Create a Basket” where she enjoyed individualizing each gift basket for her friends and clients. Judi invested much of her time into her friendships, having lunch with her lifelong friends almost weekly. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed experiencing new places, but mainly spent her travels visiting friends that lived afar. Above all, Judi’s children and grandchildren were her biggest blessings and joy in life. Spending time at family gatherings was her favorite where she always proudly made an entrance with her famous "GJ" pound cake. Judi was the most graceful woman, who had the kindest heart and was a friend to all she encountered. She radiated beauty with her gentle smile and ability to listen to others. She was a devoted mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin, partner, and friend. Judi’s favorite place was the beach, where she moved to in 2019, and was able to watch, with coffee in hand, the sunrise every morning with the dolphins frolicking in the background. Judith is predeceased by her sister Jane Anne Dawson and brother Robert Satterfield (Sharon) She is survived by her partner Steven Sanet; brother Jack Satterfield (Carla); children Ranald Stewart (Sandra), David Stewart (Kerri), Christopher Stewart (Melanie), Michael Stewart (Lindsay) and Michelle Stewart Beshears (David); grandchildren Meredith Stewart Davis (Brandon), Austen Stewart, Laura Stewart, A.J. Stewart, Stewart Beshears, Mandy Stewart Dubin (Aydan), David Alec Beshears, Samantha Stewart, Ramsey Beshears, SaraKate Beshears, Ava Stewart and Landon Stewart; great grandchildren Emma Davis and Brooklyn Dubin; cousin Janice Baccich and many other cousins, nieces and nephews, as Judi was the centerpiece to a large extended family.
