“Hey, you” I know you’ll understand that greeting from above. Words cannot express how much you will be missed, I am more than thankful to have made so many memories with you. Thank you for being the best friend and brother that both my mom and dad needed. You didn’t have just your 4 kids, my sister and I were part of the bunch and you never hesitated in taking care of us, ensuring my sister and I made it to school and back home safely, as well as never missing a milestone of ours. Julio, your presence in my life will always keep memories present and unforgettable.  Being a part of my graduation from UF and partying all night with the aftermath being us eating 10 boxes of pizza at 3 am is a memory I will forever cherish. I’ll look back on the days you, Tere, and Lela would come over to my parent's house to eat frijoles, play parques, and dominos, and tell stories while listening to vallenatos. I know you’ll always be my guardian angel and you’ll permanently live in my heart. Thank you for being the uncle that I so deeply needed and you so amazingly fulfilled. I’ll think of you every time I eat French onion soup and order prime rib just like you taught me. Until we meet again, Julio.

We miss you so much already. You left a big lasting impact on so many people throughout your life. You are so so loved. Thank you for always being such a funny, caring, gentle and welcoming spirit to us growing up.. one of the best father figures we could ever ask for. We carry you in our hearts, and we can't wait to see you again. 💕

Words cannot begin to describe how much we hurt for you, and how sorry we are that you have all experienced this loss. We love you more than anything. You are our second home. We're here for you always. Julio watches over you all now in spirit, and we will watch over you all here in life until you all meet again. We love you.

Hermanito, nos sentimos privilegiados de haber compartido tantos años contigo, escribimos miles de recuerdos juntos en este gran libro de la vida.
Fuimos testigos de tantos momentos alegres como también de todas  y cada una de tus tristezas y derrotas 
Verte luchar por tantos años y siempre muy confiado de que le ganarías la batalla al cáncer, pero por cosas del destino poco a poco  la perdías. Eres un ejemplo de vida  pero sobretodo de Amor, en tus últimos días de lucha y sufrimiento ver a tu lado a las personas que tanto te amamos era tu único  alivio, consuelo y satisfacción.
Gracias por  tu infinito amor y por dejarnos ser parte no solo de tu vida pero también de tu muerte. Verte partir y acostumbrarnos a no disfrutar de tu presencia es algo que va a ser muy difícil de superar. 
Recuerda lo que nos prometimos, tu nos cuidarás desde el cielo y nosotros cuidaremos de los tuyos acá en la tierra.

So many beautiful memories with Julio, this picture shows the beauty of his soul that will never be forgotten. Julio, although you will be so dearly missed thank you for being a second father to both my sister and I, thank you for treating us like your own and never hesitating to join us when we had crazy plans that we wanted you to be a part of. Julio, this is not a goodbye but rather a see you later, I know you’ll be watching the Artemis launch from above. I’m so glad you were part of our lives even though our time together was not long enough. Your soul will live within us all and you will never be forgotten. July, you were always a kind soul and one of the nicest people I know. You are already so missed, until we meet again. 

Desde la distancia acompañando a Tere y sus hijos, así como a todos sus herman@s, una gran perdida para la familia y para la sociedad, una  linda persona, llena de amor, alegría y humildad, bendiciones para todos, fuerte abrazo y que Dios les de mucha fortaleza para continuar adelante el camino sin esta gran compañía. Dios los acompañe. De Julio grandes recuerdos, sobre todo los momentos vividos en mis visitas a EEUU, y de su ultima visita a Medellin lindos momentos, llenos de risas y disfrute, Dios le de un lindo descanso y que en el paraíso se encuentre con sus padres y su sobrino y que entre todos nos guíen y acompañen por siempre.
