Kenneth Alan Fregeau, 60, died suddenly and unexpectedly in Macon, GA at The Medical Center of Central Georgia on January 30, 2015, after suffering a cardio vascular myopathy, an extremely rare condition. Born in Springfield, MA on November 7, 1954, he was the son of the late Marc Jr. and Shirley (Rezzani) Fregeau, and brother of Joyce Chechile (Fregeau) and her husband Peter of Feeding Hills, MA. He graduated from Lowell Technological Institute (UMASS) with his Civil Engineering degree in 1972. After a long and fulfilling career in the ice cream manufacturing business, Ken recently retired from Unilever where he worked over twenty-eight years as Factory Director (Plant Manager) of the Clearwater frozen novelty plant in Clearwater, FL. Ken was truly a family person experiencing great joy with time spent with his wife, children, sister, brother-in-law, nephews and cousins. He was an avid sports fan following the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tampa Bay Lightning, and enjoyed sports radio, especially “Mike and Mike” on his drives to and from the plant. Ken leaves his beloved wife of 9 years Heather, his loving children, Heather Lynn, Scott Alan, and Christopher Louth. He also leaves his cherished nephews, Christopher Chechile, Brian Chechile and his wife Ashley. In addition, he leaves his Aunt Elaine Camerota and her husband Anthony, his Aunt Doris Peltier, his Aunt Alice Fitzgerald, his Aunt Faith Duncan and Aunt Lorraine Rezzani, Uncle Anthony Fratini and many cousins.
The family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to Clay Pugh, Chuck Cary, and Perry Beaver for the care and compassion given to Ken and our family during his brief stay at the Medical Center of Central Georgia Cardio Vascular Intensive Care Unit in Macon, GA.
